Italian Dipping Oil

In our last blog, we learned how to infuse our own rosemary olive oil.If you missed it, you can find it here, https://ohsnapitshandmade.com/2019/02/19/rosemary-infused-olive-oil/. In this blog, we are going to learn what we can do with just such a concoction.

This is a very simple recipe and it adds such flavor to your crusty bread. You can dip it or even just drizzle a little over the bread. This is perfect for entertaining and letting your quest have something to nibble while you prepare the rest of your meal, or even just as a little snack when guest come over, and is great pared with a glass of wine.

All you need is:

1/4 cup of your already prepared Rosemary Olive Oil

2 cloves garlic

1 tbsp Italian seasoning

Garlic press/microplane

Small bowl

Loaf crusty bread of your choice

Instructions:

Add 1/4 cup prepared Rosemary Olive Oil into a small bowl.

Press 2 cloves garlic, add to oil.

add 1 tbsp Italian seasoning mix.

Gently stir

And lastly, dip!!

Now you have your a mouth watering appetizer or snack for your next group of guests, and you can boast that you infused your own oil and handmade the dipping oil for the bread.

      It is so yummy! You can also use it on pasta and it is so fresh tasting. You should look at the Rosemary Infused Olive Oil post and make that first and then use it to make the dipping oil, it makes all the difference.
